You’ve been practicing yoga for a while now. Maybe it began as movement or stress relief. But lately, something feels different.

You leave class sensing there’s more to explore, beyond poses, into the roots, rhythm, and meaning of the practice itself. You may not know yet if you want to teach, but you know yoga has shaped your life, and you’re ready to engage with it more fully.

You want to feel at home in your body. Clear in your values. Grounded in a practice that supports you through change.

This training isn’t about becoming the “perfect” yoga teacher.
It’s about deepening your relationship with yoga and with yourself.
It’s about becoming more you.

You’re Here Because Something Is Calling You Deeper

This Yang + Yin Yoga Teacher Training blends Hatha yoga, Yin yoga, and integrated teaching methodology into a grounded, practical, and embodied learning experience.

Rather than rushing through content or compressing learning into an intense format, the training is intentionally paced across the seasons. This approach allows time for integration, reflection, and real understanding, not just memorization.

The program is rooted in:
 • functional anatomy and alignment
 • subtle body and energetic awareness
 • nervous-system-informed teaching
 • practical teaching skills
 • personal inquiry and self-study

You do not need to know yet whether you want to teach. Many students join simply to deepen their relationship with yoga.

"I have had an incredible journey over the last few weeks at yoga teacher training in Bali. I have learnt so much about myself, about yoga and about life. I was blessed to have such amazing teachers and peers to be there with me along the way. I am so happy that I faced my own fears and challenges and graduated. I am officially now a qualified yoga teacher."

What You'll Learn

This Yang + Yin Yoga Teacher Training is designed to build depth, skill, and confidence progressively, allowing each area of study to inform the next. Over the course of the training, you will develop both a strong personal practice and the skills needed to teach with clarity and integrity.

You will learn to:

Understand the body in movement and stillness
Explore functional anatomy, biomechanics, and alignment principles so you can support students safely across a wide range of bodies and abilities. •

Apply yogic philosophy as a lived practice
Study classical teachings and ethical frameworks through reflection, discussion, and practice, so philosophy becomes something you embody, not memorize.

Work skillfully with breath, meditation, and subtle practices
Learn how pranayama, mantra, and meditation support regulation, awareness, and integration within both personal practice and teaching. •

Teach both Hatha and Yin yoga with confidence
Develop a clear understanding of the distinct methodologies, intentions, and energetic qualities of each style, and how they complement one another. •

Sequence intelligent, intuitive classes
Learn how to build classes that are purposeful, adaptable, and responsive, without relying on rigid scripts or formulas.

Hold trauma-aware, consent-based space
Cultivate language, pacing, and presence that prioritize choice, agency, and nervous system safety.

Develop your voice as a teacher
Practice cueing, theming, and communication in a way that feels authentic, grounded, and sustainable.

 Integrate teaching skills with self-awareness
Learn how to guide others while staying connected to your own body, energy, and capacity, so teaching supports your life rather than drains it.

Throughout the training, learning is reinforced through discussion, practice, reflection, and guided teaching exercises in a supportive, non-competitive environment.

And you’ll do it all in a supportive, non-competitive space, surrounded by people who are here to grow, not prove.

Cheers, Alison

I didn’t create a typical yoga teacher training, I built the one I wish had existed when I started.

Most programs focus on posture and performance. This one is different. It blends my training in yoga therapy and somatic work with the full foundations of a 200-hour certification, grounded in nervous system awareness, philosophy, and trauma-informed teaching.

We spend just as much time on inner awareness and practical philosophy as we do on alignment and sequencing. You’ll learn how to meet people where they are, including yourself.

This isn’t about getting it right.
It’s about showing up with presence, clarity, and care, and learning how to support others without disconnecting from yourself.

SUPPORT BEYOND CERTIFICATION

Most yoga teacher trainings end when the certificate is handed out.
You’re sent off with a manual, a head full of theory, and the vague hope you’ll figure it out on your own.

Not here.

Teaching, like practice, is something we grow into. That’s why your support continues for 3 months after graduation, with mentorship designed to help you land on your feet, build confidence, and integrate what you’ve learned in real life.

You’ll have access to:
Monthly mentorship calls for Q&A, continued learning, and connection
Resources to help you sequence, plan, and refine your teaching
Optional 1:1 support if you want personalized feedback
Guidance around the business of yoga, so your teaching is sustainable, not stressful

Because learning how to hold space for others starts with having someone hold it for you.

Before Alison, I was all about “push, push, push”, she taught me instead to “explore my edge” & really feel the benefits of slowing down which brought a totally new dimension to my practice. To “take what works & leave what doesn’t” is something that guides me everyday & every practice.

"Explore my edge."
