On Tuesday, August 26, 2025, I had the honour of being a panelist at the Automation Advantage Summit, a free, three-day virtual event for service providers, virtual assistants, coaches, and online business owners who are ready to simplify their systems and scale their businesses without burning out.
I spoke on the panel Simplify to Scale: Building Systems That Save You Time, where we explored how smart systems and automation can transform the way you run your business.
So many business owners think growth comes from doing more, more tasks, more tools, more effort. But the truth is, scaling sustainably comes from doing less, better.
Here are a few highlights I shared during the panel:
The Automation Advantage Summit was packed with insights and practical tools. Here are a few standout themes from the event:
If you’ve ever found yourself duct-taping tech tools together, staying up late to finish admin tasks, or feeling like your business only runs because you’re constantly pushing it forward, I want you to know: there’s another way.
Systems aren’t about restriction. They’re about creating freedom, flow, and sustainability in your business. They give you time back for what truly matters, whether that’s client work, creativity, or simply breathing room.
Although the summit has wrapped, the conversation around automation, systems, and simplifying to scale is just beginning.
If this resonates with you and you’re curious how to bring more ease and structure into your own business, I’d love to continue the conversation.

Alison Réaume has spent nearly two decades teaching yoga and exploring what happens when the practice becomes about more than getting the poses “right.”
As a yoga teacher, teacher trainer, and somatic educator, she helps students develop a more curious and connected relationship with their practice, while supporting yoga teachers in becoming more thoughtful, adaptable, and confident in the way they teach.
Her work brings together movement, somatic awareness, philosophy, breath, self-study, and a belief that yoga should make room for the person practicing it.
Alison offers classes, workshops, retreats, 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, and continuing education for yoga teachers throughout the Fraser Valley and Greater Vancouver, along with online learning opportunities.
